High schools across the Commonwealth have the opportunity to compete to register the highest percentage of their voting-age student population. The Governor's High School Voter Registration Challenge will kick-off on National Voter Registration Day, September 25, 2018 and will end on May 20th, 2019. To sign-up for the challenge, please go to The 2018-2019 Virginia Governor's Voter Registration Challenge Sign-Up.
Schools that reached or exceeded 65 percent of their eligible voting population will be recognized by the Governor with the Governor's Award. Applications for the Governor's Award must be received by May 20th, 2019. Your Inspire representative will complete your application or you can find the online form here: 2018 -2019 Virginia Governor's Award Application

We can help coordinate student-led voter registration and engagement events, provide resources and data management, turnout reports, and organize your school's celebration. Additionally, all high schools have their own Unique URL from the Department of Elections. Please use your schools Unique URL to receive credit for the Challenge.
